Information Bulletin: Tropical Depression #14 intensifies to become Tropical Storm Nadine

 

At 11:00 p.m. last night, Tropical Depression 14 strengthenedd to become Tropical Storm Nadine. The centre of Tropical Storm Nadie at 5:00 a.m. this morning was located about 1605 km east northeast of the Lesser Antilles. 

Nadine is moving toward the west-northwest at 28km/hr and a gradual turn toward the northwest with a decrease in forward speed is expected during the next 48 hours.  On the forecast track, the centre of TC Nadine should stay far northeast of the Caribbean Islands. 

Maximum sustained winds within Nadine have increased to near 75 km/hr with gusts up to 85 km/hr. TC Nadine is forecast to strengthen during the next two days. 

Though Trinidad and Tobago may experience some showery activity today, this would be in no way related to Tropical Storm Nadine.
