Annually, the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management (ODPM) disperses its emergency text message alert system at the start of the Dry and Wet Seasons in collaboration with Bmobile and Digicel. This is critical to ensuring that during times of disasters we can send lifesaving information to persons across Trinidad and Tobago.

On Saturday 07th January, 2023 both telecommunication service providers will issue a text message alert. Consequently, persons should expect a text message on their cell phones from both Bmobile and Digicel. 

The ODPM invites all members of the public to participate in learning more about the Dry Season via the link on your cell phone.
