HAZARDOUS SEAS ALERT DISCONTINUED

The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) has discontinued its Hazardous Seas Alert.

The TTMS has advised that the effects of long-period swells have been decreasing and further improvement is expected over the next two days.

The Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management (ODPM) joins with the TTMS in advising all sea bathers, fishermen, and small craft operators to continue to exercise caution during coastal activities, especially during high tide.

All residents and visitors should continue to monitor the website and social media profiles of the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service and the ODPM for weather forecasts, alerts, warnings and cancellations. Visit wwww.odpm.gov.tt or www.metoffice.gov.tt
