Yesterday, the Office of Disaster Preparedness and Management (ODPM) was proud to participate in the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force – 1st Engineer Battalion’s 27th Anniversary Open Day at the Arima Velodrome!
These are our favourite kinds of days, when we get to meet you, share practical tips on how you can be better prepared for any hazard, and showcase the many ways we’re working to make Trinidad and Tobago safer and more resilient.
As we approach International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction (IDDRR) on Monday, October 13th, we’re continuing to engage with you throughout the week as we invest in your resilience.
Events like these also give us the chance to listen, to understand the challenges you face, so we can better serve you through stronger policies, more tailored communication, and targeted support to the communities and sectors we work with every day.
