We are in the 4th month of the 2025 Atlantic Hurricane Season, which ends on November 30. So far, we’ve had six (6) named storms, one of which became a major hurricane.
The TTMS wishes to remind the public that any tropical cyclone (depression, storm, hurricane) that forms in the Area of Interest (AoI) has the potential to threaten Trinidad and Tobago and the rest of the eastern Caribbean.
Now is a good time to review your emergency plans. Do not wait until a public warning message (alert, watch, or warning) is issued to get ready.
