Today’s Emergency Operations Centre (EOC) Training saw our Emergency Support Functions (ESFs) returning to our Alternate National Emergency Operations Centre (ANEOC). It follows on from the 1st session held on 28th August, 2025, and is a vital step in strengthening our national preparedness and response framework. Today’s training aims to:
a) Reinforce knowledge of NEOC operations, roles, and responsibilities;
b) Enhance coordination and communication among Emergency Support Functions (ESFs); and
c) Ensure a well-integrated response approach during national emergencies.

The timing is critically important, as we are approaching the peak of the hurricane season (September 10th, 2025). This training will also ensure that all stakeholders are aligned, prepared, and ready to respond to any potential threats or impacts.
