Today, Tuesday 10 December 2024, the ODPM facilitated a handover ceremony of essential equipment and supplies donated by the United States Southern Command at the National Emergency Operations Centre, Mausica. These equipment and supplies were handed over to the ODPM, the Siparia Borough Corporation and the Tobago Emergency Management Authority (TEMA). Speaking at the ceremony were CEO of the ODPM, Major General (Retired) Rodney Smart, United States Ambassador, Candace Bond, Commander United States Southern Command, Adm. Alvin Holsey, Mayor Siparia Borough Corporation, Mr. Doodnath Mayrhoo and Minister of National Security, The Honourable Ftizgerald Hinds. Below are photos from the ceremony.
