Flood Bulletin #2: Flood bulletin is discontinued.

This is the final bulletin on this weather event and updates Bulletin Number 1 issued earlier today.

Recent reports received from the Water Resources Agency have revealed that the levels of all major courses are receding except for the Caroni River. Although rising trends in the Caroni River are observed, it still remains contained and not critical. Runoff from recent rainfall events is no longer impacting on the levels of our rivers and other watercourses. As a result, the Flood Bulletin is being discontinued.

Current Meteorological analysis suggests that rainfall activity associated with feeder band activity has decreased, but periods of light rain or showers are forecast for tonight and tomorrow morning.

The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service, Water Resources Agency and ODPM remain vigilant and will inform the public on the development of any weather related conditions which may adversely affect our islands.
