URIAH BUTLER HIGHWAY (UBH) OPEN TO TRUCKS AND SUVS ONLY
 
 
The Uriah Butler Highway (UBH) is only open to high vehicles such as Trucks and SUVs. The UBH has not been opened to Sedan vehicles at this time.
 
The South-bound lane remains inundated with flood waters.  Thus, the North-bound lane of the UBH is being operated as a dual carriageway for Trucks and SUVs only.

The Southern Main Road is also impassable between Washington Bridge and Warrenville Cunupia.

The Public Transport Service Corporation (PTSC) is providing FREE shuttle service to and from San Fernando and Port of Spain today (Sunday 21st October, 2018) for those that need transportation. This service started at 8:00 a.m. from the Port of Spain to San Fernando Route leaving at City Gate, and the San Fernando Bus Terminal to City Gate. The service will continue every hour. 
 
Citizens are advised to avoid using the UBH unless it is an emergency.
