Adverse Weather Alert #1 Cancelled

The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) has cancelled the Adverse Weather Alert #1 - Green Level on Saturday 22nd September, 2018 at 1:12 p.m. Green level means no immediate action is required.

The TTMS has advised that the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is no longer active in the area. However, it is possible for areas in North-West Trinidad to experience street flooding from lingering showers and thunderstorm activity.

All citizens (especially those in low-lying areas or landslip prone areas) are advised to remain vigilant and to continue to monitor weather conditions and watercourses.

Citizens should also continue to monitor the website and social media profiles of the Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service and the ODPM for official weather forecast, alerts, warnings and cancellations. Visit www.metoffice.gov.tt or www.odpm.gov.tt
