Adverse Weather Warning Cancelled

The Trinidad and Tobago Meteorological Service (TTMS) cancelled the Adverse Weather Warning – Green Level on Monday 17th September, 2018 at 1:08 p.m. Green level means no immediate action is required.

The TTMS has advised that the rainfall activity due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) has dissipated.

All citizens (especially those in low-lying areas or landslip prone areas) are advised to remain vigilant and to continue to monitor weather conditions and watercourses.

The Ministry of Rural Development and Local Government field officers are currently conducting damage assessments in communities impacted by today’s adverse weather. Citizens in need of assistance are advised to contact their respective Municipal Corporation or the Tobago Emergency Management Agency (TEMA) through its toll-free hotline numbers.
